MD4352 Making Tracks: Sampling Composition

For the second set task set in MD4352, I was instructed to create a 2-5 minute track with manipulated samples and sampling as the focus of the song.

This song uses a variety of samples that I sourced from different songs and a sound archive Twitter page I follow, which I thought were interesting in concept. There is a sample that sounds like a saxophone in the song but is actually a vibraband - a piece of rubber. This song uses a variety of different warping effects and sampling instruments such as the Simpler and Granulator to create a soundscape of different textures.
